Tacos & Beer: The name says it all!

Every time there is a new restaurant opening in Las Vegas, I am eager to check them out and see if they are a stop to add to my rotation of frequently visited places.

So when Tacos & Beer sent out the invite to check out their place, I was quick to accept.  I am always happy to check out a new Mexican restaurant, especially one that has an emphasis on great beer!

It’s conveniently located on Paradise, close to Flamingo.  Parking isn’t great because many other restaurants are in the same complex, but they do have a free valet located right in front of the restaurant to make things easier.
We walked in the front which has a nice patio which seems like a perfect place to grab a beer and relax after a long day at work.  Once inside, we just decided to grab a small cocktail table right up front so we could people watch and enjoy the surroundings.
What makes this place a lot different than your typical Mexican restaurant is that everything is light and super fresh.  Too many times this style of food, although great tasting, is very heavy.  Not here!  You can tell that all the ingredients are specifically chosen to leave the diner with no regret after digging in.
We enjoyed a sample of their offerings which included some awesome guacamole, beef adoba tacos, puerco verde sopes, and ceviche of mahi-mahi tostaditas.  As I said, each dish was just fresh as could be and complimented our drinks perfectly.

And of course it couldn’t be called Tacos & Beer without the beer!  They offer a huge selection of beer, both domestic and imports, that will satisfy anyone.  From the bigger name beers, to smaller micro brews, they have it all.
For those who aren’t into beer, they offer a full bar as well.  We enjoyed a delicious frozen margarita and a frozen sangria float with our meals.

This is definitely a place I will visit again.  A friendly staff,  great atmosphere, and awesome food are more than enough to earn a return for me.  It’s the kind of place that suits a lot of situations.  Like I mentioned early, it’s a great spot to unwind after a hard day at work.  It also would work well to kick off a night of partying for you and your friends.  Grabbing some great food, enjoying a few cocktails, and listening to some live music which they had while we were there is a great way to get you in the mood for a great night in Las Vegas!
We would like to thank all the staff and management at Tacos & Beer for a great meal and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon!
