Area Dukin’ Donuts hold “Celebrity Restaurant Challenge” to benefit NVCCF

Dunkin’ Donuts locations all over Las Vegas took part in a great event that raised money and awareness for the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation’s Camp Cartwheel.  Local celebrities at each location were on hand for a “Celebrity Restaurant Challenge,” putting on aprons and working for a couple hours each.

We went out to the Dunkin’  Donuts located on Rainbow and Post where BMX rider Ricardo Laguna, musician Jay R Beatbox and detective Robert Mayer of Crime Prevention and Community Relations were on hand to serve those who came in for donuts and coffee.  While they were not the best at making donuts, a great time was had by all, as the celebrities and employees alike had a great time working for a great cause.

At various other locations Anthony Cools, Seth Grabel, Tom Chase, Miss Nevada USA and more were on hand doing the same great work.

At our location, the great folks at Winder Farms offered a $50 gift certificate in a raffle open to all those who made a donation.

NVCCF’s Camp Cartwheel is an outdoor three-night camp experience designed to help children with cancer or other critical illnesses as well as their siblings, overcome the physical, mental and emotional obstacles posed by childhood disease. If you couldn’t attend the event today, be sure to check them out and see what you can do to help their cause.

And if you are anywhere in Las Vegas, be sure to drop in to a local Dunkin’ Donuts for some awesome donuts and the best coffee found anywhere.

We would like to thank the great people at the Rainbow and Post location for all their great hospitality and for doing their part to help out the community.  They were a total class act!
