Grape Street Café, Wine Bar & Cellar Introduces Open Mic Night

Musicians, comedians and magicians are welcome to take the mic every Friday night

Grape Street Café, Wine Bar & Cellar is introducing Open Mic Night on Friday, Aug. 23. Every Friday from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. all musicians, comedians and magicians are welcome to take the mic and show off their talents. Jason Hutchings; a local musician, songwriter and producer will host Open Mic Night.

“We want our guests to have fun while dining with us,” said John McKibben, executive chef & owner of Grape Street Café, Wine Bar & Cellar. “What better way to add a little more excitement to their dining experience, than with live entertainment.”

Jason Hutchings got his start in music playing for Professor Punn, a local band that opened and toured with Sublime and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Hutchings has produced music for ESPN, SPIKE TV and independent films. He attended the acclaimed Musicians Institute where he obtained a degree in music production. He has performed with local groups including: The Watson Family and DevilCar.
