The hotel and casino located at 3000 S. Paradise Road is a part of Las Vegas history.
On a warm, balmy night, the resort was lighted by a new marquee. Westgate Las Vegas invited VIP guests, staff and media to witness the lighting of the tallest sign in Las Vegas.
David Siegel, Westgate Resorts founder and CEO, addressed the crowd and throw the switch.
He admitted he asked Yesco Sign what the biggest sign was and they told him it was Trump Las Vegas. He told them to increase his sign by one inch and as Siegel stated, “I have trumped Trump.”
First built as the International, the property was known as the Las Vegas Hilton for decades before becoming LVH in 2012 and known as the home of Elvis including his private suite.
