Vising the most glamorous lingerie museum. Victoria’s Secret museum in NYC

Located in their flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York City, the Victoria’s Secret Museum is your front row ticket to the runway shows that you only ever got to watch on television.

I was visiting the Big Apple and my friend told me about it and I went to see everything. I particularly wanted to see and take a picture with the wings Adriana Lima wore during their last show and I did it! What surprised me about the wings is how architectural they are. Most people never get to see the wings up close, and it was fascinating to see all the tiny details.

The main museum is on the third floor on the big store. I almost tripped as I went up the beautiful glass staircase, amazed at what just might be the most glamorous museum gallery ever.

Here, the “Victoria’s Secret“ exhibit features costumes that have been worn by models during the lingerie brand’s annual fashion show. You can touch them, take pictures, read each detail and watch videos about the glamorous event.

I remembered almost every outfit. Bella Hadid’s outfits were on display along with her sister, Gigi’s and many other models in the lineup such as: Kendall Jenner, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd, Stella Maxwell, Elsa Hosk, and Taylor Hill. And while not every single look is on display, the exhibit does showcase some of the standouts from the shows.

There is a space that shows how the creation process takes place, in addition to a panel with the name of all the models that participated in the all the fashion shows all the way up until today.

The exhibition currently features content from the 2017 Fashion Show that was held in Shanghai, China; where Victoria’s Secret partnered with historic luxury brand Balmain Paris to create the Punk Angel chapter of the show. The collaboration featured sexy Victoria’s Secret silhouettes paired with Balmain’s edgy style.
