Las Vegas Strip finally has its first show completely in Spanish, and it comes from the hands of Santiago Michel, a young Mexico-born mentalist that is challenging your doubts and skepticism about the true mind power at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
With only 24 years of age, Michel, gets to amaze and surprise his audience in a very interactive show where your most treasured memories could be revealed, and your mind could become an open book.
“Ilusión Mental” is a fun and family-friendly show that comes to Las Vegas in collaboration with the producer Tobias Cannon. “It’s inspiring for me to see how Santiago gets to build an extraordinary experience for his audience through a game that mixes mystery, magic, and illusion”, said Cannon.
“This is a dream come true for me. Since I was 6, and after my parents hired a magician for my birthday party, I knew that I wanted to be part of that incredible world of magic and illusion. Now I’m honored to be the first artist bringing to this cosmopolitan city, in one of the most diverse states in the country, the first show completely in Spanish. I believe the Latino community, both locals and visitors, deserves a first-class show, created and produced with them in mind, and that’s exactly what we are doing. I hope they can come and see what we have for them”, said Santiago Michel, mentalist and creator of “Ilusión Mental”.
Santiago is UNLV Senior-Student majoring in Hospitality. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico and learned to hypnotize when he was only 14. His performing career began at the age of 18, when he decided to be part of professional hypnosis shows, something that he did for 3 years. After that, Santiago decided to continue his studies and preparation for the Entertainment Business, a goal that took him to Russia, where he studied Theater.
“Ilusión Mental” is not his first show endeavor. Santiago hosted “El Mentalista”, and “Alucinación Mental” previously, Both shows were very well received by the specialized critics and by the public of Mexico, that already has Santiago as a reference of the mysterious and complex world of mentalism.
