If you are wondering what is my relationship with Planet Hyundai, I do not work there directly, but I feel part of this big family and I want to share my experience with all of you.
After we bought three cars from them, go for oil changes, and other maintenance the company has been given me the opportunity to provide some Spanish communications services for them.
In January 2012 I wanted to buy my first car under my name because I wanted to start to build my credit in this country. I went a car dealership and I felt cheated and mocked. I gave my deposit and I took a new car to my house. A week later they called me to say that the bank had not approved my loan and that if I wanted to keep my car I had to pay $600 monthly, 18% interest, plus $1500 extra for the deposit.
I returned the car. Two days later came to Planet Hyundai and I explained my situation and that was when the Financial Manager, and now currently the General Manager, Paul Pelletier came out and offered me a new car, at 8% interest and a reasonable monthly payment.
I returned a few months later and I told Paul I wanted to buy another car according more suited to my personality and he helped me again with a Hyundai Tucson, at just 3% interest, again with very good monthly payment. Then in January January my husband and I bought our third car here, a Hyundai Elantra and Paul helped one more time, 1% interest and a low payment.
It has been said that for a service in which a person feels satisfied that person will tell their experience to minimum of 5 people, but for a service where a person is unhappy they will tell to everybody.
I went there without credit, without knowing anyone and they helped me.
Also I want to mention that Planet Hyundai has approximately 155 employees and in each department they have people that talk our language, Spanish. Planet Hyundai has employees from such countries as Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominica Republic, Peru, Nicaragua, Chile, and from as far away as Korea too.
This dealership was acquired by the Tamburro family, people with good a reputation and prestige in this kind of business. With over 30 years’ experience in Texas, they brought with them a group of approximately 10 employees and their families in 2012 when they came to Las Vegas.
Planet Hyundai is a company with doors open for all the community of Las Vegas.
