I believe the best experiences are those enjoyed with friends and family around great food, drinks and an amazing place to hang out.
We wanted to do something outside of Las Vegas strip, so we decided to go Boulder City. There we found Milo’s Cellar and Inn. This is a charming little restaurant we found quite by accident after driving around, looking for a little place that we could grab a bite.
I love sidewalk dining, so this place immediately caught my eye. They had little tables outside that allowed a great view of the cute little town, and for me to people watch.
The menu offered a great selection, and they had a wide variety of wine inside on display. On my next trip I will be sure to grab a glass.
I would come again for the sandwiches, which we all enjoyed. I ate an Italian and Avocado Chicken sandwich, which had some potato salad on the side, as well as some fruit. I really enjoyed it. My husband had what they called a “French Kiss,” which he also gave high marks to.
Some good friends of ours came along for the ride, and they decided to go for a chicken wrap. It looked delicious to me, and there was nothing left when they were done, so I can only assume they were happy with their selection. Even their baby seemed to enjoy the atmosphere, although she is still a little young to enjoy the food.
The restaurant is right next door to a sports bar, so if you want a quieter evening, sit on the side where the candy shop is.
Their prices are very reasonable.
The waitress and hostess were super sweet and attentive. We will return for sure.
Milo’s Cellar Inn is the perfect to stop in your way to Hoover dam, and great get away from Las Vegas.
