This place is technically a cactus and garden store, but it’s really so much more. Part nursery, part desert museum, part gift shop.
This is the perfect place to find something that makes your home a desert home! Cactus Joe’s Las Vegas Nursery is an eclectic cactus nursery and desert garden.
A great Las Vegas destination for locals and tourists alike, it is something totally different than you normally find in the city.
On my way down to Pahrump from Las Vegas, I stopped here and was really excited walking around and looking at the giant cactuses. They are located almost between Blue Diamond and State Route 160.
It is a bit out of the way from the city, but that means that they have more room to keep the rocks.
To get there you must take the scenic route through beautiful Red Rock Canyon and if you look closely, you’ll probably see some wild burros on the side of the road.
They have tons of cute wire ant sculptures and more cactuses and succulents than you can shake a stick at.
So many beautiful plants and interesting things to look at.
There are plants, sculptures, garden art, rocks, geodes, benches/furniture, a gift shop, the list goes on and on.
They have acres and acres of pottery and lawn art to chose from.
The place is a community. Seeing the people there, it’s easy to see their admiration and respect for nature.
If you come here wearing sandals, expect to get your feet dusty.
I think it’s only safe to say that this is not your typical gardening experience.
