Crazy Pita Rotisserie & Grill specializes in fresh cooked to order Mediterranean cuisine. Their signature dishes feature food that is fresh, tasty, and healthy and include seasoned steak, lamb, chicken, shrimp, salmon, falafel, vegetables and Kefta (Seasoned ground beef), in addition to their famous hummus and pita.
Currently, they are celebrating their grand opening at the new Downtown Summerlin location, and I got the opportunity to check out some of their great offerings!
One of the things I have really started to focus on lately is adding some variety to my diet. Too often I get stuck in a rut of going to the same chain restaurants and ordering the same typical fare. So when they started to bring out all the amazing things this place offered, my eyes got wide! There was so much delicious looking dishes that were unlike anything I had ever seen!
Some of the food that was brought out included:
Feta Salad- Romaine, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions and olives.
Hummus and Pita Bread
Roasted Eggplant Dip
Marinated Chicken Skewer
Steak Tenderloin Skewer
Shrimp Skewer
Every single bit of it tasted as amazing as it sounds! And they have a ton of other options as well. I ate a little more than I had wanted to, but it was so delicious, I could hardly be angry with myself.
Another thing I really like is that they are locally owned, based out of Henderson. I always try to support my local businesses as much as I can!

I would also like to mention that Crazy Pita is involved in some great charity work! Josh Stevens was a young boy that used to LOVE this place. He went there as often as he could. So when he unfortunately took ill and passed away, Crazy Pita became heavily involved with the foundation created in his name.
