Those who are regular readers of my site know that I am a pretty big fan of boxing. I go to the Mayweather Boxing Club fairly regularly to check things out and to say hello to some of the people I have met there.
Well, one thing is for sure about the Mayweather Boxing Club, is that you never know who you might run into while you are there. Not just famous boxers, but celebrities from all over the entertainment world stop by often to pay Floyd a visit.
So today when I was at the gym, I was not shocked, but I certainly found it interesting when a large portion of the Jackson family came by. Jermaine is of course the brother of Michael and a member of the Jackson 5.
He is, besides Michael, the one that found the most success in his career. I got a chance to spend a few moments with him and talk briefly. He was shy and quiet as you might expect.
There was also a large contingent of other family members there as well. Most were younger and were the various children of the brothers. They were fairly quiet and kept to themselves, enjoying watching Floyd Mayweather get in some work.
A lot of people in the gym were also eager to take photos with Jermaine. Former world champion Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, Ashley Theophane (35-6) and undefeated TMT fighter Ronald Gavril were among those who posed for photos.
Although many years have passed since he was a big star, it’s clear that Jackson still has the same sense of style he displayed all those years ago. His jacket even had the Jackson 5 logo on it, and all the crew were dressed in a very flashy manner, making them stand out in the crowd.
It just goes to show that you never know who you are going to run into while
out and about in Las Vegas!
