For years my husband and I have gone to movies that offered sticky floors, cramped seats, and a stampede to get to the best seats available when the doors opened. But this past weekend all that changed.
If first impressions are incredibly important, this place did not disappoint. It felt less like a movie theatre, and more like we were inside a high end Las Vegas or Broadway show. The lobby was spacious, neat and offered great scenery to view while waiting to enter your theatre.
The seats themselves are as comfortable as any you will ever find. They recline completely with the touch of a button, and you can freeze them at whatever position you find most comfortable. The aisles give you plenty of room and you no longer have to worry about people squeezing by to pass you, or someone constantly kicking the back of the seat. Here you are completely free just as if you were watching the movie in the comfort of your own media room.
There is one difference though. The screens here feature digital projection and 7.1 Dolby digital surround sound on the largest movie screens in Las Vegas. It truly is the best way to watch a movie. And to the credit of Galaxy Theatres, although you will enjoy a much better movie going experience, that doesn’t come with a great increase in price. Prices are pretty much in line with the rest of the movie theatres in town.
