Nevada Wild Fest, is Southern Nevada’s premier festival & fair at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
Wild Fest offered the thrills of a big state-fair experience in the Las Vegas Valley including DockDogs, celebrity meet & greets, concerts and more than 30 large format carnival rides for all ages. Many local artists, such as the Blues Storm, Sin City Sinners and Thrillbilly Deluxe, were scheduled to perform throughout the weekend.
Besides the musical offerings, various celebrities stopped by the event to spend a moment or two with Wild Fest goers
Stars like Bella Thorne from Disney Channel’s “Shake It Up” and the cast from TLC’s “Sister Wives” were among those who came to Nevada Wild Fest and took pictures with their fans.
I did have one negative experience at the event, though it was through no fault of the event organizers. Danielle Bradbery, the headline act on Saturday night has some of the more unpleasant management I have ever come across in this business. Though it may not be an indication of the young singer’s personal attitude, you have to wonder how she will evolve as she continues to build on her fame.
Perhaps it was just a one time thing, but there was no excuse for the horrible attitude displayed by her people, especially towards people who were there to help promote her. However, my personal negative experience had no affect on those watching the show, which was terrific!
Nevada Wild Fest allowed families to have a great time while supporting an important cause. This year was not an exception because they had great performers for all three days.
The festival packed entertainment, including live music, carnival rides and a Zumbathon.
Specialty foods and thirst-quenching beverages were found in the food plaza, along with wine tastings, beer and mixed drink bars. Great music could be found on the Festival Stage which featured some of the best local bands in Las Vegas as well as national acts.
100% of the net proceeds of this event are donated to the Lili Claire Foundation.
All the people working on the event were volunteers giving their time and resources.
It was a great event to help support the Lili Claire Foundation and it’s a great way to support the local community.
In a town like Las Vegas, where so much caters to adults, it is refreshing to have events like this where the entire family can come out for a great time. The smiles on the festival goers were a clear indication that the Nevada Wild Fest accomplished just that.
I would like to thank all of the organizers of this event for not only putting on a great event, but for all their hospitality. It is rare that I have come across people so dedicated to their task and filled with the desire to make sure that everyone involved had a great time.
If you were unable to attend this year’s event, make sure you put next year on your must-do list!
