The Who coming to Las Vegas Via Viva Vision® Show at Fremont Street Experience

Roger Daltrey, lead singer of The Who and Jeff Victor, president of Fremont Street Experience announced at a joint press conference held at Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas that The Who will get its own Viva Vision® show.  The light and sound show, titled The Who – Miles Over Vegas will contain stunning graphics built around three iconic songs: “My Generation,” “I Can See for Miles” and “Pinball Wizard.”

“It’s quite exciting to get our own Viva Vision show, seven minutes of 3D video animation from our early period done in that Pop Art style and using vintage footage. I am very intrigued to see the final show,” stated Daltrey.

Viva Vision, the world’s largest video screen spanning five football fields, features customized light shows synced to smash hits from legendary bands every night of the week and include Bon Jovi – Wanted in VegasA Tribute to QueenThe Doors – Strange Days in Vegas and Heart – Crazy on Vegas.

“The Who has been at the top of our wish list for years and we are thrilled that they agreed to have their music featured on Viva Vision. I am sure that The Who – Miles Over Vegas will be a fabulous addition and will blow everyone away when it premieres this fall,” said Victor.

Viva Vision®, the LED display canopy rises 90 feet in height and stretches 1,500 feet along the Fremont Street Experience promenade from Main Street to Fourth Street. Within the canopy are 12.5 million LED lights and 208 speakers producing 550,000 watts of concert-quality sound.
