On Sunday night in Las Vegas, a dinner was held in a local restaurant to celebrate the start of filming for “Knockout,” a show that will offer boxers an opportunity at the big time. Serving as mentors on the show are several current, former, and future world champions.
Zab Judah, a former five-time world champion, Shawn Porter, a current IBF world champion, and Jessie Vargas, who gets his first world title opportunity in April were on hand at the dinner to discuss their parts on the new show.
As the dinner came to an end, tempers got out of hand as fiery trainers Floyd Mayweather Sr. and Ruben Guerrero got into a skirmish in what may have been lingering tension from last year when their sons met in a world title fight. Pushes and fould language were exchanged, but the men were separated before things got too out of hand.
