The annual Glittering Lights display kicked off on Thursday at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a great event that featured awesome holiday music by Human Nature, great food from Carraba’s, and a variety of other vendors serving up items such as hot drinks, home made ornaments, and delicious candy!
This is the 13th straight year for the event, and the fourth year it has been held at the LVMS. As you drive along the 2.5 mile track, you see an incredible array of over 400 animated light displays that cover everything from racing, to dragons, to a live nativity scene. It really is quite a sight to behold!
Besides giving guests a fantastic trip through the race track, Glittering Lights also does a lot for a couple of charities. Without the support of visitors, none of this would be possible. Speedway Children’s Charities and Goodwill of Southern Nevada are the beneficiaries of much of the revenue raised at the track.
Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is priced to be an affordable, family-oriented Christmas experience. Tickets are $20 per car load seven days a week including holidays (Save $2 and purchase online!)
Receive $5 off (Sunday through Thursday) or $2 off (Friday through Sunday) by bringing a bag of gently used items to donate to Goodwill. The donation truck is available on site at Glittering Lights!

The lights can be seen from November 14 through Sunday January 4. They are open on Christmas Eve and Christmas day too! The hours are Sunday through Thursdays from 5:30 – 9:00pm and Friday & Saturday from 5:30 – 10:00pm! To find out more, visit their site HERE.
