Distill opens in West Las Vegas, offering great food, great drinks, and great times

Since I love to get out on the town, I am always on the lookout for a new place to hang out with my friends, or to meet new ones.  Living in Summerlin, I think I may have found a new place to frequent.  On Feb. 22, Distill opened it’s doors near 215 and Charleston.

We dropped by to check the place out and were very impressed with all they had to offer.

Since we were hungry, we tried a variety of what they offered on the menu.  The tacos were delicious, as were the jalapeno poppers.  What I really appreciated was that although the items we sampled resembled “bar food,” they also featured fresh ingredients which elevated them from some of the other much heavier items you often find elsewhere.

Open 24 hours a day, they also have burgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads and wraps on the menu among other things.  I will definitely be back to try some of those items!

For those who like to do some drinking, Distill offers two happy hours a day (3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 3 a.m. to 6 a.m.).  The bar is large and features some very talented bartenders who were keeping up with the crowd that was ordering everything from beer to some signature house drinks.

As we looked around the place, it seemed to have something for everyone.  Besides the great food and alcohol, Distill offers 15 gaming machines, 18 HD televisions, and a patio that had fire pits and couches.  I can’t wait to come back with a group of friends and hang out by the fire!

They also have a variety of video games that are popular with the bar crowd, as well as a juke box that offers a ton of the most popular music.  Basically, if you want a place to hang out and have fun, you have found your new spot.  In fact, as we were getting ready to leave, we even spotted Las Vegas icon George Wallace hanging out with a group of people!

Las Vegas has a ton of options when it comes to where to grab a bite or drink.  From dive bars to upscale places in the strip casinos, there is something for everyone.  But if you are looking for a place that takes the best aspects of both, this is the perfect place for you.  I highly recommend you make it down there some night to check them out.  The incredibly friendly staff will be happy to see you!
Conveniently located off 1-215 and West Charleston Blvd. at 10820 West Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89135 – inside the Costco shopping complex, Distill is easily accessible from anywhere in the western part of the valley.
