Dine out at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria in September and help childhood hunger

More than 16 million American children face hunger. This September, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria is joining thousands of restaurants nationwide to support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign by raising funds in their restaurants. From September 15th through September 22nd guests will be able to donate $5 or $10 to No Kid Hungry, and will receive $5 or $10, respectively, back to use on their next visit to Grimaldi’s. 100% of the raised proceeds will benefit No Kid Hungry. “No child should have to worry about where their next meal is going to come from. The struggle of childhood hunger hits close to home, and knowing that Grimaldi’s can make a difference means a lot. Everyone within the Grimaldi’s family is looking forward to partnering with No Kid Hungry, and help end childhood hunger in our local communities.” Joey Ciolli, CEO of Grimaldi’s Pizzeria

In 2012, restaurants raised $5.9 million for the No Kid Hungry campaign—funds are used to raise awareness about child hunger in the U.S.; create public-private partnerships that align kids with the resources they need; support nutrition programs like School Breakfast and Summer Meals; and educate kids and their families on how to cook healthy meals with limited resources.
