Whether you have a small sweet tooth or are a full out chocoholic, you will enjoy the Vegas Celebrity Chocolate Walk.
I got a special invitation from them to check it out, and I went with my friend from Spain, Begoña Sevilla. It was fascinating learning about the history of each place we visited.
Our tour started at the Wynn Las Vegas and we made our way through the Grand Canal Shoppes at the The Venetian, and The Palazzo, and indulged in some of the delicious chocolate-based delicacies they offered.
I love the combination of tour guide info and getting to hear from the people at the stores! I never knew so much went into chocolate making and the different chocolates were so good!
Each tour is unique depending on the day, but here is a taste of what we did on the Vegas Celebrity Chocolate Walk. We stopped in 7 different places: La Cave, Honolulu Cookie Company, Godiva, Carlo’s Bakery, Buddy V’s Ristorante, Vom Fass, Otto Pizzeria and db Brasserie.
Besides all the sweet flavors, we enjoyed an amazing pizza at Otto Pizzeria, by Mario Batali.
Overall, here are some of the things we got to experience:
1 – We learned the finest ingredients and fresh island flavors are baked into a batch of Hawaiian shortbread cookies.
2 – They showed us the chocolate making process and we got to try dark, milk, and white chocolate sweets.
3 – We tried a personal recipe crafted by the shop’s famous chef and prepared by the most renowned bakery on the Strip.
4 – A little liqueur with your chocolate.
5 – Cheers! We finished our tour with a glass of wine.
