McDonald’s was sponsoring an Appetite for the Arches event at the McDonald’s restaurant at 6990 S. Rainbow Blvd. in Las Vegas.
During the event, four celebrity chefs prepared a three-course culinary experiences using only McDonald’s ingredients.
All proceeds from event tickets benefited the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Las Vegas, which provides a “home away from home” for families and children who are receiving inpatient or outpatient medical treatment at local hospitals.
The four top chefs featured during the event included:
Bryan Flyer, executive sous chef at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Jose Navarro, executive chef at Landry’s Inc.
Matthew Piekarski, executive chef at HEXX kitchen
Carol Garcia, executive pastry chef at HEXX kitchen
The menu that evening included gnocchi and meatballs, apple pie milkshake and Fat Elvis McGriddles.
Similar gourmet events at McDonald’s restaurants have taken place in large markets across the nation.
