My selfie with Bill Clinton

I am passionate to know important people, celebrities, personalities and world leaders. Those people who in one way or another, change or make a difference in the world.
I got a special invitation to attend an event where former US President Bill Clinton would be appearing.
Of course I accepted the invitation, especially since I wanted to see him up close for the first time and to take a picture with him for my blog.

I have a distant image of President Clinton. I have a recollection of his years as president when I saw him on TV and when he was approximately 50 years old.
Today he is close to 70, very thin, with deep lines on his face which are quite evident. He looks a bit tired, but still very enthusiastic.

He wore an elegant light blue suit with a red shirt, and spoke about the country, the future, votes and more.
I had been warned that it might not be possible to take a picture with him because the Secret Service would not let me.
I was very lucky as always. My friends and I were seated in a VIP area. Once he finished speaking, Mr. Clinton  greeted people who were in close proximity to him.

I was fortunate enough to exchange a few words with him.  Our conversation went something like this:
“Mr. President, nice to meet you. My name is Rosario Grajales, I am a Panamanian journalist and I live here in Las Vegas. I would like to take a picture with you.”
He says “Of course, and thank you so much for coming to our event.”
