Titanic exhibition, awesome experience!

It was an extraordinary experience to go to the Titanic Exhibition at the Luxor Hotel and Casino.

The Artifact Exhibition is an unprecedented opportunity to travel back in time and experience the wonder and tragedy of the world’s most famous ocean-liner, Titanic. Viewed by more than 25 million people worldwide,  the Exhibition is one of the highest attended in history.
It takes approximately two hours to reach the remains of the Titanic from the surface.
Since they found the remains of the vessel, there have been seven expeditions to it’s location, resulting in the collection of over 6000 items in general.
The exhibition shows a variety of items, including personal effects, as well as the ship offered amenities of Titanic guests staying in 1st, 2nd and 3rd class for their passage from Ireland to New York.
Over 250 authentic artifacts recovered from the wreck site of Titanic, as well as extensive recreations of some of the most famous rooms from the Ship, make this an educational and entertaining experience perfect for all ages.
There are pieces of the ship, passengers’ luggage, clothing, dishes, letters, eyeglasses, purses and even shoes.
The personal artifacts on display offer haunting, emotional connections to the forever-altered lives of those on board the Titanic. Visitors even have a chance to walk through authentically recreated first- and third-class rooms, with furnishings by original manufacturers.
Of the 2,228 passengers on board; more than 1,500 of them died. The exhibit concludes with a memorial wall honoring all those who lost their lives that fateful night.
